Icelandic Poppies are at the center of this softly lit piece. It looks different from classic cyanotypes because after processing, it has been toned with sodium carbonate which eventually pushes the blue to a golden shade. However, with careful timing, multiple colors can be achieved, as in this print, where the middle remained aqua and only the edges turned yellow.
